Carriage Association of America
The Carriage Association of America was founded in 1960; it is the oldest and largest international organization devoted to the preservation, restoration and use of horse-drawn carriages and sleighs. The CAA has introduced thousands of people to the joy of collecting these vehicles, and to the pleasure of driving them. It also offers a driver proficiency program, a bookstore & shop, member tours, a list of goods & services providers, & other amenities.

Driving Horses & Ponies For Sale (USA) (FB group)
Federation Equestre Internationale
Formed in 1921, the FEI is the governing body of international equestrian sports. Today, there are 134 National Equestrian Federations affiliated with the FEI. Driving came under the FEI umbrella in 1970 thanks to the efforts of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, then the FEI President, who organised the meeting in 1969 which produced the first rule book. On its web site you will find FEI rules, an international events calendar & competitor rankings, among other features.
Small Pony CDE Drivers (FB group)
A group for all carriage drivers who compete Small Ponies (100cm - 119cm) in Combined Driving Events, to organize the sport and talk about issues particular to competing.
United States Driving for the Disabled
United States Driving for the Disabled, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, seeks to improve the lives of physically challenged individuals throughout the United States and Canada by providing the experience of driving horses in a safe and challenging environment. USDFD fosters opportunities for drivers to compete in national and international amateur competitions by training and providing financial support for Team USA.
United States Equestrian Foundation
The USEF is the National Governing Body for equestrian sport; a responsibility the Federation takes very seriously. The largest multi- breed and discipline organization in equestrian sport, the USEF stewards safe and fair competition. Currently the USEF recognizes 11 breeds and 18 disciplines that fall under the Federation’s rules and regulations. Its sanctioned competitions and programs are also geared to educate, guide and inspire. More than 2,600 licensed competitions, cover the country with opportunities to experience and participate in equestrian sport.
USEF Driving Sport Committee (FB group)
The driving sport committee represents combined driving in the USEF. In 2016 the driving sport committee was formed by joining the driving technical committee with the driving high performance committee. Virginia Draft Horse & Mule Association
Provides opportunities to work with, learn from, and teach others who share an interest in draft horses, mules, and donkeys. Members have wide-ranging interests, from farming with draft horses and mules to driving elegant carriages; from trail riding to dressage; from showing at halter to competing in pulling and log skidding contests; and from breeding and raising stock to caring for animals retired from the field and the show ring. Ownership of a horse, mule, or donkey isnot required to be eligible for membership--just interest and enthusiasm!
